Flexiteek is by far the most practical and convincing alternative to high quality teak decking. After considerable testing in tropical and European conditions, Flexiteek continues to clean easily and look like a newly laid teak deck. Its non–slip quality is superb and nobody yet on first viewing or touching thinks it is anything other than real teak. Flexiteek is sandable with individual graining. The result is natural looking and the feel is realistic. The deck is extremely stain proof and is easily washed, even with a powerwash. Yachtsmen will experience a safe and inviting deck with beauty that never fades or bleaches over time. Flexiteek is also used as a refit, replacing worn or damaged teak decks.

Flexiteek has been through extensive testing to document all important material properties as well as qualities relevant to the demanding customer. We have proof of high wear resistance, solid welding seam strength, water tightness, excellent surface friction and good sound insulation properties. Flexiteek comes as flexible synthetic planking of continuous length, with integral caulking strip in black or white and slightly larger border planking. Each installation is custom fabricated specifically and exclusively for each individual boat. The result is a factory teak look that truly makes the boat stand head and shoulders over its sister crafts. When it comes to installation, you’ll be pleased to know that drilling of holes in the deck is not needed. It is glued down with Bostik 940A (A marine industrial strength glue), forming a complete water tight seal. It doesn’t come up. In addition to manufacturers of leisure crafts and yachts, the Flexiteek product is targeted to the major naval architects, designers and shipyards building large ferries and cruise vessels and as a custom aftermarket installation for individual pleasure craft owners. Flexiteek decking can be used on balconies, outdoor pool areas, swim platforms, marine decks, medical office floors, interior boat floors, onboard bathrooms, charter boats and flat roof homes.
