All customers are provided with a free quote. One of our technicians will need to assess and measure the approximate square footage of the areas to be covered. this gives us the information we need to give you exact pricing installed.
Templating:
Templating is the next step. A technician will template all the floor areas which need to be covered. Templates are created with a heavy duty paper. the floors are covered in the paper and taped down. Typically the panels are made to cover the "non-skid" on the floors. A construction crayon is used to rub the edges of the non-skid through to the paper. The result is a perfect print of your floor space. breaks in the floor, as well as things like pedestals, hatches, brackets and such are also marked accordingly. We mark where each piece is in relation to the next, roll them up and take them back to the shop.
Fabrication:
Once the templates arrive at the shop we are able to fabricate each panel in its entirety solely off the templates. Each Panel is hand cut and welded piece by piece and inspected for quality before being rolled up and sent to installation.
Installation:
Installations typically take one day. The decking must not be walked on for 24 hours after the install is complete. The deck is scrubbed down with a denatured alcohol. Each panel is dry fitted, marked, then glued down. Each panel is glued down using Bostik 940A Marine Industrial Adhesive. The Adhesive provides a water tight seal and incredible strength that has yet to show weakness in any climate zone. weights are applied to the surface for the 24 hour period while the glue cures.
Terms of sale:
Boateek Customs LLC requires 50% of the full cost down before templating can begin. Buyer is responsible for the remaining 50% upon completion of the install.
